Make Yourself at Home

The land surrounding March Bank is steeped in history, myth and legend. So as a fitting tribute to our region’s past, we’ve named our guest rooms after areas of local interest.

Whichever room you choose to stay in, be it the Reivers, Borders, Scotts Dyke, Esk, Netherby, or Kirkandrews on Esk, you’re sure of a comfortable, relaxing night. You could also stay in our cosy Bothy, a small building just a stone’s throw from the main hotel.

All of our rooms are ensuite, have tea and coffee making facilities and a TV. We have a choice of family, twin and double rooms, and as we operate on a B&B basis, you’ll also get to start the morning with a delicious cooked Cumbrian breakfast.

For the romantics among you, a night in our Netherby room with its four poster bed is a must.

Scotts Dyke - this lovely double room looks out on to the debatable lands.

Reivers - a double room with views of the lands once fought over by the local clans.

Borders - a delightful family room with a double and single bed offering views of the borders.

Esk - an attractive family room with a double and single bed that offers great views of the River Esk and the old Waverly railway line.

Netherby - a romantic retreat with a four poster bed and views of the historic Netherby estate.

Kirkandrews on Esk - this superb family room with a double and single bed has great views of the Church of St Andrews.

The Bothy - located just a few paces from the main hotel, this twin room is a charming little hideaway.
